Following months of preparation, Delta Systems Kft. and evosoft Hungary Kft. have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation. In recent times, orders that include not only solutions requiring the integration of the most modern platforms and off-the-shelf systems, but also custom developments, have become increasingly common in the market. Hungary's largest system integrator and one of Hungary's leading industrial software developers will now be able to carry out IT developments with much higher added value by supporting each other, thus increasing their competitive advantage in the domestic and international markets.
The epidemic situation has spurred IT development worldwide, and every public authority or public institution has been forced to work at a disadvantage or even jump ahead of its competitors in the digital transformation. Whether in education, public administration, commerce, goods distribution or even the manufacturing and services sectors, decisions to order and implement IT upgrades have been made more quickly than before.
The post-covid period creates a new situation: more complex, forward-looking developments are on the agenda, and the difficult financing environment and deteriorating growth prospects are making customers more cautious and investors more demanding on results. Meanwhile, innovation is gaining momentum: decision-makers are learning new concepts, and in many areas prototypes have moved into the mainstream.
It is this market environment that has given rise to the collaboration between Delta and evosoft. Previously, system integrators had sought to develop the widest possible range of supplier partners, in the hope that there would be a ready-made solution to meet a particular customer need. Today, system integrators can only be successful in the market if they have a better understanding of their customers' needs and are not afraid to propose custom software development beyond the correct assembly of system components, preferring to work with a narrower but trusted circle of partners. Meanwhile, developers have faced the problem of needing a third party to interface, manage the project, liaise with the customer, guide the development along the bumpy road and, last but not least, coordinate with other supplier partners in order to serve the customer properly.
