Delta Systems, a 100%-owned subsidiary of Delta Technologies, has become a qualified NATO supplier under a decision by the Ministry of Defence. The certification will allow Delta Systems to participate in procurement procedures announced under NATO Security Investment Programmes at its level of certification. With the certification, the company has become one of approximately 250 domestic companies with NATO supplier capability.
Hungary's accession to the NATO Security Investment Programme (NSIP) has opened the way for interested companies to participate as bidders in the international tendering procedures of NATO's procurement organisations and member states. Following the decision of the Ministry of Defence, Delta Systems, Delta Technologies Plc. a wholly owned subsidiary of the Defence Ministry, has become a qualified NATO supplier. As a result, the company will be able to participate in future NATO Security Investment Program procurement procedures, which include access to data at a level no higher than „NATO Unclassified” or, if the appropriate conditions are met, „NATO Restricted”.
The award of the NATO Supplier of the Year title opens the way for Delta Systems to win orders from the defence industry. By becoming a NATO Supplier, manufacturing and service companies in the defence industry that are not principally involved in military products and services can also gain access to contracts.
