Delta Systems Kft. donates enough tablets for several schools to the Debrecen Municipal Government
Delta Systems Kft., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Delta Technologies Nyrt., is donating enough tablets for several classes to the municipality of Debrecen. The company aims to facilitate the integration of disadvantaged children living in the region, enabling them to participate in online education during the pandemic. The company has been present in the city for several years, having successfully completed multiple research and development projects in collaboration with the University of Debrecen.
The Budapest Stock Exchange-listed Delta Technologies Plc's wholly-owned subsidiary, Delta Systems Kft., is involved in the digital upskilling of disadvantaged children. The company, known as one of the country's leading system integrators, is donating enough tablets for several classes to the municipality of Debrecen. These tablets will help children in the region growing up in difficult financial circumstances to participate in online education.
The Delta Group has been present in Debrecen for many years and has implemented several R&D projects in cooperation with the University of Debrecen.
László Vidra, CEO of Delta Systems Kft., stated that cooperation with the city of Debrecen is of paramount importance to Delta, which has been operating successfully for years. In addition to research conducted with the University of Debrecen, they strive to maintain a good relationship with the local government, which is why they wanted to help where the need was greatest. Through the donated tablets, many disadvantaged children, for whom this opportunity was previously unavailable, can now participate in online education. The company is confident in the continuation of their successful collaboration.
Lajos Barcsa, deputy mayor of Debrecen responsible for economic affairs, said that the municipality is doing everything to help families in difficulty during the pandemic. This is also being done through the help of donors, the Debrecen City Relief Fund, the Debrecen Charity Board and the telephone information line. He stressed that he was pleased to see that there are also companies that take on a role in social responsibility. With Delta's help, they can help young people who have difficulty in coping with online education because they lack the necessary tools. The deputy mayor thanked Delta for its support and assured the company that the tools would be put to good use.
