Vodafone is a global leader in IoT solutions with more than 100 million IoT connections, and was the first to bring the next generation mobile network, 5G, to Hungary. Both technologies are essential for the deployment of both Industry 4.0 and Smart City solutions. Delta Group is at the forefront of Industry 4.0 solutions, offering solutions in areas as diverse as robot control, custom target machine building, marking, sorting and control solutions, sensor networks, industrial monitoring and control platforms - complementing Vodafone's IoT and 5G-based solutions in a number of areas.
Thanks to the cooperation, the two companies will help domestic companies to migrate to modern network technologies in a way that focuses on increasing production efficiency through automation. The problems that often stand in the way of progress, such as heterogeneous measurement and control infrastructure, that production companies often face, will be quickly overcome - immediately improving competitiveness.
Vodafone recently announced that it has launched a private 5G network for the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Although this network is provided as a subsidy, there is also a strong demand for private networks among corporate customers, and more 5G networking partnerships are expected to be signed in the future.
