Delta Technologies subsidiary expands computing capacity for research and development and economic recovery.
Delta Systems, a 100%-owned subsidiary of Delta Technologies, has won the public procurement for the expansion and addition of a supercomputer to be located on the campus of the University of Debrecen. The contract, with a net value of more than HUF 755 million, concerns the supply of hardware, software and storage components for the computer.
A consortium led by Delta Systems Kft., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Delta Technologies, has won a public tender to expand the hardware and software of a supercomputer to be used primarily for research and development projects requiring high-volume computing capacity, but also available as a service to businesses.
The supercomputer, which can be used by both the domestic research community and the economy, provides an excellent opportunity to carry out tasks related to innovation activities and economic modelling. We are proud to contribute to the creation of such a quality service in the Eastern region.
The contracting authority, the Government Information Technology Development Agency (GIDA), as contracting authority, is awarding the contract „Procurement of servers and storage (SRVT 21) Part 1: Procurement of homogeneous servers and storage”, including „Supercomputer extension, procurement and installation of hardware and software components”, under the procurement procedure No DKM01SRVT21, after the expiry of the moratorium period, i.e. after 2 September.
